Registration will open the week of February 12-16.
Registration will close July 1, 2024.
The match fee will be $500 USD.
$50 dollars of the 500 dollar match fee goes directly to the IPRF to fund day to day operations. (i.e., website costs, accounting and legal fees, etc.)
Every country will have a one-hour slot to check zero and dope at the LRP Range. You need to be at the Cameo Range Office one hour before your scheduled time and adhere strictly to the designation schedule to ensure all competitors have equal opportunity.
This will allow plenty of time for sign in and mandatory rifle checks for any factory division shooters.
After check in, you can drive to the LRP range, where all of the zero and known distance targets (out to 1000 yards) are located. Please use as few vehicles as possible to drive to the LRP range.
We will have transportation for spectators at regular intervals from the Cameo Range office to the firing lines Friday through Monday.
Water and Lunch will be provided Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday by our sponsors (free of charge). We will not be stopping for lunch, it will be brought to shooters at their stage. We need to make sure we are done at a reasonable time each day. Some of the stages face the West, and we do not want anyone to need to shoot into a setting sun.
Two to four weeks prior to the match, I will need accurate shooter and spectator counts from each country for each
day of competition. This will help us plan on enough food and transportation each day. Shooters that are not shooting but wanting to watch and support their teammates are encouraged, but they need to be included in the spectator count for days when they are not competing.
The tentative match schedule assumes we will not have any bad weather. To prepare for this possibility, we are going to have at least one timed stage. In the event we have to cancel the shooting one day because of extremely bad weather, we will complete the competition Tuesday and use the timed stage as the tiebreaker. In this scenario we would have the closing ceremony Tuesday evening after the competition is complete. Please take this into account when planning your travel.
This will be a field style match. Target acquisition, panning between shots, and shooting in the wind will be some of the skills tested. Any props shot off of or used on a stage will be solid. The expected round count is 200, which will consist of twenty, 10 round stages. Max distance will be 1000 yards.
The match has been designed to not need any special equipment, such as double pull bipods or tripods. There will be some targets that are placed above a 10-degree shooting angle. We will provide line of sight ranges in meters and yards. We will minimize the angle to a target and the number of targets at an angle as much as possible, but ultimately it is the shooters responsibility to know how to deal with angled targets in their ballistics program.
Each of the 4 Match Days, shooters will need to arrive early to the Range Office to get a side by side/UTV. These are already covered by your match fee and will not have an additional charge.
Each vehicle will have a number on it, and each shooter will be assigned a specific vehicle according to squad number so as to make the match flow as smooth as possible.
We will announce the side by side/UTV assignments when we announce the squads. We also plan on having designated vehicles as needed to move spectators and media around.
The course of fire for the 2024 IPRF World Championship will require approximately 200 rounds, plus whatever you need to check zero and check your dope. The USPRA completely understands that not everyone can fly with enough ammo because of airline weight limits. To help address this, we want to make everyone aware of other options to make sure you have enough ammo.
All limited shooters will be required to shoot factory 308 ammo.
To address competitor concerns about whether the provided 308 ammo will shoot good in every competitor’s gun, the IPRF has decided to allow Limited Division shooters 3 different factory options. Limited shooters can shoot any 308 or 7.652x51 factory loaded ammo from Hornady, Federal, Lapua, Norma, or Nosler as long as it is a 179 grain bullet or less.
The USPRA will NOT be providing ammo at the match. You can bring some or all of the ammo with you, or you can purchase it using the information below. In accordance with IPRF rules, Limited shooters may have ammo checked for bullet weight and speed at any time during the match. If anyone is caught using handloads or modified factory ammo in limited division, it will be an immediate Match Disqualification (DQ).

Cameo has asked us to not have anything shipped directly to the range until three weeks prior to the match, so on or after August 20. Once we get closer to the
match, we will give you the exact process you need to complete in order to ship things to Cameo.
Cameo has a very specific way items need to be labeled to allow them to take and store those deliveries, and make sure they get to the correct person.
Mile High Shooting Accessories is one of our Platinum sponsors for the World Championship. They have agreed to take orders from anyone shooting the World Championship. Another option will be to order powder, brass, primers, or bullets from Mile High
and they will be waiting for you at Cameo when you arrive. You can bring your own brass if you want, then buy components in the US and load ammo on an arbor press*.
*We are not providing arbor presses or dies, so you must provide your own. This option does NOT guarantee you availability of powder or bullets when it is time to order.
